Five-time DJ Mag award winner hosts triumphant night
of EDM excitement at The Venetian Macao
Legendary Dutch EDM DJ and producer Armin van Buuren hosted a marathon five-hour evening of electrifying music, amazing support acts and a breathtaking lighting and sound show with his world tour Armin Only Embrace to thrill a euphoric Cotai Arena audience at The Venetian® Macao Saturday night.
For his first ever show in Macao, crowds were entertained by internationally acclaimed artists including Mr Probz, Bullysongs, Erik Vloeimans, Cimo Frankel, Eloi, Niles, Betsie Larkin and Angel Taylor, alongside Van Buuren’s trademark blissed-out trance, with confetti explosions, lasers, strobes and dry ice all adding to the party atmosphere. The seamless hour-long vinyl set of pure trance he traditionally closes every show with received an especially rapturous response.
Unprecedented five-time winner of DJ Mag’s “World’s Best DJ” public poll, Van Buuren’s Armin Only Embrace 18-month world tour kicked off with two sold-out concerts back in May this year in the Netherlands. For the tour, alongside the sets which have made him the unrivalled master of progressive trance, fans of EDM and more mainstream music alike have been treated to an infectious mash-up of jazz, hip-hop and rock as the superstar DJ continues to experiment with his sonic palette.
